Joan Falkenberg
Joan Falkenberg, Field Instructor, Residential Child Care Component,
CPSTI; Extension Associate, Family Life
Development Center. Ms. Falkenberg has over 10 years of relevant
experience in video and training material production and
her instructional design background and experience allows her to build
media, and video-technology into curriculum design,
making videos work as an integral part of a program. Ms. Falkenberg has
been responsible for assisting in the development
of the recently revised Therapeutic Crisis Intervention training video and
materials, the Risk Assessment training tape, the
training video for the Coordination of Child Sexual Abuse course, and is
currently working on materials for the Strong
Families, Strong Soldiers prevention project. Ms. Falkenberg has her MS in
Communications and Instructional Design from
Ithaca College.
