Gloria Cronin
Gloria Cronin, Field Instructor, CPS Component, CPSTI: Extension
Associate, Family Life Development Center, was a
Risk Assessment Specialist in both the Rochester and Syracuse regions.
Prior to being hired by Cornell for the Risk
Assessment Project, she held a variety of caseworker and supervisor
positions in the Ontario County Department of Social
Services. She also spent several years as a caseworker in the New York
City Department of Social Services. Ms. Cronin has
specific knowledge of the organizational structure, strengths and
personnel of more than 20 DSS districts, and has trained in
risk assessment and in other human service areas as well. She has
expertise in negotiation, conflict resolution and
organizational change. Ms. Cronin has her B.A. from William Smith College.
