Frank Barry
Frank Barry, Principal Investigator of Interagency Programming and Case
Management for Families with Multiple Needs
Component, CPSTI; Senior Extension Associate, Family Life Development
Center. Mr. Barry has been the Director of the
Rural Services Training Project since 1988, and is the Project Director
and Principal Investigator of "Community Lifelines",
the national demonstration project in Chemung County. He recently
completed a four year term on the U.S. Advisory Board
on Child Abuse and Neglect for which he authored a strategy paper on
strengthening families through neighborhood and
community development. His past activities with the Center have included
directing the STAR demonstration project to
improve coordination between runaway and homeless youth shelters and CPS
services. He was also the Director of the federal
Region II Resource Center on Child Abuse and Neglect which provided
information and technical assistance throughout New
York, New Jersey, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. He has his MS from
Cornell University.
