Brenda Solomon
Brenda Solomon, Field Instructor, CPS Component, CPSTI; Extension
Associate, Family Life Development Center.
Ms. Solomon has been active in the field of human services since 1980.
Prior to completing her MSW, she was a child
protective caseworker in Cayuga County for eight years. Most recently she
has worked as a child and family therapist. She
has had previous experience in staff development training with social
services personnel. Her current teaching and research
interests are in group work with abusive parents, and programming and
intervention strategies concerning adolescent
sexuality. Ms. Solomon is also an adjunct instructor for beginning social
work students at Syracuse University teaching
practice methods and theory. Ms. Solomon has her MSW from Syracuse
University with an emphasis on health care and child
welfare.
